Residents of The Woodlands, a desirable suburban area in North Houston, have long known that their part of town is one of the best for families. As a result of continued population growth in Houston’s city limits, even more individuals are moving their families to The Woodlands. The idyllic community hosts a variety of exciting events year-round, including Woodlands ice skating at the new ice rink.
Family-Friendly Activities in The Woodlands
There are plenty of things to do in The Woodlands, like the water park Wet ‘n’ Wild SplashTown or open-air concerts or shows at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. Opportunities abound for stretching your legs and staying active. But as the weather grows chilly, there are fewer options, especially for families with children. When school lets out for Christmas Break, parents are sure to be searching for activities for bored kids.
Until recently, these families had to either make their wintery plans in other parts of town, or settle for museum- and movie-hopping. However, children easily grow bored with these options, causing parents to look forward to starting the new school year. Thankfully, a new ice skating rink is now operating to get you in the holiday mood.
The Woodlands Ice Skating: A New Winter Option
Hold your loved ones close and enjoy the cool air in your face as you experience fun Woodlands ice skating at the Ice Rink. The facility is brand new and enclosed so you can enjoy winter activities in all weather. Festive lighting, professional-quality sound, and tables make the ice rink an ideal venue for birthday and holiday parties.
