My whole moving experience with them was terrible, and the communication from the company during moving day was the absolute worst part. Crew was 1.5 hours late. My window was between 1-3pm and they got there at 4:30pm. I kept getting incorrect information regarding the ETA. Company would tell me an ETA of 30 mins but then the movers would call and tell me 1hr. I was given incorrect information multiple times. The company staff was also extremely unprofessional and flat out rude during moving day. An employee named "Greg" at one point told me to "be nice to the crew or they might leave my stuff on the side of the road". This is something that should NEVER be told to a customer. He also at one point stated "we aint giving you no more discounts" when I explained my frustration to him about my overall experience. He then became verbally aggressive and EXTREMELY confrontational with me and threatened to cancel my move without any any reasonable explanation. I explained to Greg that I had one day and one day only to move and that this move had been scheduled FOR OVER A MONTH for that sole reason and was able to finally persuade him to keep my appointment. If I could have taken more days off of work, trust me I would have canceled and went with other movers. I regret that I didn't trust my gut and go with different movers.Side note: He admitted to me the next day when I called to submit a claim that " he was having a bad day that day". I'm sorry but regardless of the day you have, it is NEVER okay to speak to customers in this way. NEVER OKAY! And the way the agent framed it, it sounded like a claim wouldn't even get addressed by the company so I saved myself the headache and didn't bother with filing a claim.My refrigerator along with my multiple walls of my brand new house was damaged during the move as there were numerous scratches and dents within the sheet rock on basically every single wall. In conclusion, I will never use this company again with any future moves. 0/5 stars.TRUST ME, STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! There are just too many moving companies in and around Houston to settle for one that will treat you in such an unprofessional way.

Ameritex sent three (3) guys to help me pack last minute and move from Katy. These 3 guys were absolutely amazing... They were quick to wrap up the furniture and worked together like clockwork! In the past, I have always used another moving company, and have made complaints because their guys are constantly on their mobile phones on personal calls. These Ameritex guys were very professional. I actually did not think I had a lot of stuff to move, so I was very fortunate to have 'them' come back and move more items from the garage. Thank you so much for the moving services and sending professionals to make the move easy and very quickly. I highly recommend Ameritex Movers!

Service was requested 2 days prior to move & company was able to accommodate me. Jeremías and team did a great job wrapping furniture that needed extra care like dresser, couch, desk, etc. they were very careful loading and unloading items making sure none of my items were scraped/scratched in the process. I recently used Ameritex Movers, and I couldn’t be more pleased with their service! Although they were a bit delayed in getting to my home, they kept me informed every step of the way, which actually worked out better than my original schedule. Luis, the main guy, was exceptionally helpful and led the team with efficiency and professionalism. They took apart my furniture with care, ensured everything was handled gently, and even helped me figure out the best placement for items when I was undecided. Move, overall, went smooth.One of the main issues I have was that they didn’t use any covers to work on the carpeted floors of the apartment I moved from and I was charged a cleaning fee for it because they got stained.At the moment when we asked about it, they said they had the covers but we didn’t ask for them to use them (this should be the default unless people moving say “don’t worry about the carpets” but this wasn’t my case).When we arrived to the new place they ended up removing their shoes, so no issues on that end.

This is my second move using Ameritex in Houston and they are always on time, quick, respectful, and professional. They get the job done at very competitive rates, my mom even said she will be recommending them to anyone else in the family that needs to move since they have been so great both times we’ve used them. Definitely recommend!
